Historical drill holes from 1982 and 1985 were drilled on a former claim that plots within cell 41I02G332. They were logged visually as good-quality syenite near surface with poorer sections below; no assays were filed. Two 1959 Ontario Geological Survey grab samples from the deposit contained 21.8% and 28.4% nepheline.

This 2-cell contiguous mineral claim is located in Bigwood Township, Ontario, on the north part of the Rutter nepheline syenite body (the historical sample site and lease are on neighbouring ground) (MDI41I02SE00005). Patented parcels within parts of the two cells (surface and mining rights held by others) are excluded and are not included with these claims.

Historical work from Ontario records and Steep Rock drilling (historical, not NI 43-101, not current):

• Historical estimate: 50 million tonnes for the deposit, centred on neighbouring ground and not on these two cells. Historical, not NI 43-101, not current.

• Drilling: Steep Rock drilled holes FRN 203–205 (1982) and FRN 207–209 (1985, 700 ft) on former claim S-574880, which plots within cell 41I02G332 (claim 1040007). The core was logged visually as uniform to coarse-grained nepheline syenite, good to fair near surface with poorer, more mafic sections at depth. No assays or nepheline analyses were filed.

• Nepheline content (OGS record MDI41I02SE00005): two 1959 grab samples from the deposit contained 21.8% and 28.4% nepheline, and samples from Lot 11, Concession 5 (not part of these claims) contained up to 48.9%. No nepheline analyses are recorded from these two cells.

• Deposit type: Mesoproterozoic nepheline syenite body about 8 km long (north–south); nepheline syenite is used in glass and ceramics.
