Prospect Canada sells mineral claims in British Columbia and mining claims in Ontario to owner-operators and junior explorers. Each claim or package has its own listing, with the title or claim number, whether it is issued or still an application, the good-to date once issued, hectares, mining division, access and the asking price in Canadian dollars.
The geology and history on each listing come from the public record: BC MINFILE, assessment reports, Mineral Titles Online reports and Ontario's Mining Lands Administration System. Each listing names the report behind its history so you can read the source. Historical work is not a current resource.
Mineral rights only. A BC Free Miner Certificate is required to hold a BC claim. An Ontario Prospector's Licence is required to hold an Ontario claim.

Title details first. Title numbers, cell count, hectares, status and good-to dates are on every listing, so you can check each title on Mineral Titles Online or MLAS.
History. Showings, adits, trenches and drill holes are tied to MINFILE and assessment report numbers. Where old workings are not GPS-confirmed on the cells, the listing says so.
Holding costs shown. Listings estimate the yearly cost to keep the title in good standing.
Plain terms. Each listing states the price, what is included and what is not. Surface rights are never included. Any terms other than an outright sale are written on the listing.
Get your BC Free Miner Certificate or Ontario Prospector's Licence, check the title on Mineral Titles Online (MTO) or MLAS, then email the title number. The transfer is registered in MTO or MLAS. How buying a claim works
